How do you plan heating for my home?

No two homes heat the same way. We look at your rooms, your windows, your hot water use and how many people live with you. Then we size the boiler and every radiator so each room stays warm without wasting gas.

Good planning is the biggest reason a heating system works well for years. A boiler too big for your home wastes fuel, and radiators too small leave cold rooms. We get the sizes right at the start.

Do I need a full new system or just an upgrade?

Many homes do not need a full new system. If your pipes are in good shape, we can often keep them and replace only the parts which are failing, such as the boiler, some radiators or the controls. We check your current set up first, and reuse what still works well.

A full new system makes sense when the pipework is old or badly laid out, when rooms stay cold however high the heating is set, or when you are renovating and the floors are already up.

Can you fit underfloor heating?

Yes. We fit wet underfloor heating, which runs warm water from your boiler through pipes under the floor, and electric underfloor heating, which uses heating mats. Wet systems suit larger spaces and new builds. Electric systems suit smaller rooms like bathrooms, where lifting the whole floor is not practical.

Underfloor heating spreads warmth evenly across the room and frees up wall space, as there are no radiators. We advise which type fits your room and your budget in your quote.

Which controls should I have?

Good controls can make as much difference to your bills as a new boiler. A smart thermostat lets you set times and temperatures from your phone, and radiator valves let you heat only the rooms you use. We install Hive and Google Nest, and set them up on your phone before we leave.

Is the fit clean and tidy?

Yes. We fit the boiler, pipes and radiators with care, protect your floors while we work, and clean up when we finish. Before we leave, we fill and test the system, balance every radiator so heat spreads evenly, and check for leaks.

We then show you how your new system and controls work, so you feel in charge from day one.

How much does heating installation cost?

The cost depends on the size of your home, how many radiators you need, the boiler type, and how much pipework needs to change. Because every home is different, we visit first and give you a fixed price in writing. The price we quote is the price you pay, with no hidden extras.
