01How does Nest save me money?
Nest learns when you are home and the temperatures you like, then builds a schedule for you. It warms your home when you are in and cuts back when you are out, which means less waste, more comfort and lower bills, without you having to set it up by hand.
02Can I control Nest from my phone?
Yes. The Nest app lets you change the temperature, see your heating history and adjust your schedule from anywhere. Nest can also tell when everyone has left home and turn the heating down for you.
03What makes Nest different?
Most smart thermostats need you to set a schedule. Nest learns one from how you use it in the first days. After that, it keeps adjusting as your routine changes, and shows you when you have chosen an energy saving setting.
04Do you set Nest up for me?
Yes. We fit Nest, link the app to your phone, test the connection to your boiler and set your schedule. Then we show you how to use it, from changing the temperature to setting holiday mode. You are ready to go the moment we leave.
05Can you replace my old thermostat with Nest?
Yes. We remove your old thermostat and timer, fit Nest in their place and make good the wall. If your old thermostat is in a bad spot, such as a draughty hallway, we can place Nest somewhere better for an accurate reading.
06Does Nest work with my boiler?
Nest works with most gas boilers and heating systems. We check your boiler and wiring first and confirm it will work before we fit. If you are getting a new boiler, we can fit Nest at the same time.
07Hive or Nest: which is best for me?
Both are good choices. Hive is simple to use, with an easy app and optional smart radiator valves. Nest learns your routine and adjusts the heating for you. We fit both, and talk you through which suits your home and how you live. See our thermostat installation page for other options.

Yes, and it is a good time to do it. When we fit your new boiler, we can fit Nest at the same time, wire both together and set them up in one visit. You get a new boiler and smart controls working together from day one.
10What can I do with Nest day to day?
Set a different schedule for weekdays and weekends. Boost the heating for an hour when it turns cold. Turn the heating down when you go away, and back up before you get home. Check the temperature at home from anywhere. Small changes like these add up over a winter.
11Where do you cover?
We are based at Unit 24, The Roundway, Watford, WD18 6LB, and fit Nest across Watford, Bushey, Rickmansworth, Hemel Hempstead, St Albans, Harrow, Pinner, Stanmore, Edgware, Ruislip and Northolt.
